RELAY TEAMS

Participating in a multi-sport event with friends and family can be an exhilarating and rewarding experience, fostering teamwork, camaraderie, and a sense of accomplishment. With the option to compete as a relay team, individuals can come together to tackle the swim, bike, and run legs of the race, sharing the thrill of the journey and celebrating each other's achievements.

In the triathlon relay division, assembling a team with a swimmer, biker, and runner allows each member to showcase their strengths and contribute to the overall success of the team. Alternatively, for the duathlon, a team consisting of a runner and biker can join forces to conquer the course together.

As the race begins, the swimmer will position themselves based on their swim experience in the designated start chute, just as they would if competing individually. Upon completing the swim leg, they'll transition to the biker teammate, passing the timing chip and strap to continue seamlessly onto the bike course. After completing the designated number of loops, the biker will transition to the runner, transferring the chip and strap to embark on the final run leg.

Throughout the race, the relay team will support and encourage each other, working together to overcome challenges and achieve their shared goal. Upon crossing the finish line, the entire team can celebrate together, basking in the sense of accomplishment and receiving their well-deserved finisher medals as a united group.

Whether it's the thrill of competition, the joy of teamwork, or simply the opportunity to bond with loved ones, participating in a multi-sport relay event offers a memorable and fulfilling experience for all involved. So gather your team, lace up your shoes, and prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey of endurance, friendship, and triumph.

When finishing the entire relay team can cross the finish line together and receive their finisher medals together.
