Rad Racing Company proudly presents... the 1st Annual Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!!
Lace’m-up, get your most patriotic gear on and come join us in Proclaiming Liberty at our 4th of July FREEDOM RUN SHOWDOWN Y’all! This is a family-friendly event that takes place exclusively in Kingwood Texas at the Town Center Park with 3 distances: 4-mile, 1-mile and Kids Dash.
The course is a fast and flat multi-loop run through the beautiful Town Center and Town Center Park area. Our Races offer something for runners of every level - whether some healthy fun with friends/family/co-workers -OR- if you're more seasoned and looking to stretch your limits... Rad Racing's got you covered!
The event benefits these charities: Team RWB, Torch of Freedom Foundation, L3 Foundation, Addi’s Faith Foundation and Tabbot's Table.
**in addition to our contribution from proceeds, you may also make a direct donation and create your own fundraiser to any of these worthy partner organizations through our Run Sign-Up page.
**Top Fundraisers will receive a full refund of their registration as well as a gift card to say thank you**
**all individual donations of $25 or more will receive a discount on registration, an EVENT SWAG PACK and be entered into a Raffle for gift cards**
ALL event participants will receive a Custom Race Shirt, Finishers Medal and Race Bib. Award winners will also receive Overall and Age-Group awards.

Distance Details:
Kids Dash: (10 & Under) fun 100m partial loop around the park!
1-mile: Nice and easy double loop around town center and swoop to the finish!
4-mile: Throw it down and stretch your 5k limits in honor of the 4th with x8 loops around town center!

POST RACE FUN: head over to our finishers tent for results, water, food, music, Best 4th Attire Contest, Raffle... aaand a POWER BREAKFAST from The Flying Biscuit of Kingwood… YES! FRESH HOT-OFF-THE-GRIDDLE MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH SWEET FINISHLINE PANCAKES, Heavenly Biscuits... and did someone say BACON??!! Come and get YOURS!
"Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up. For you speedsters You can run and help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent. You can participate in Either 4-mile and 1-mile events. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and about 15 minutes before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards.
Want to serve your running community and still get the swag? No problem, just click on volunteer on the above menu and choose from the available positions still available. These positions are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Virtual Events
Virtual Event participants are welcome to run any day, anytime, at the location of their choice!
Your registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping for your packet. Your packet will be mailed to you and will ship out the Tuesday after the race. You can upload your times starting the day of the event on the results page. You can also upload any photos in the "participant upload" album on the photos page!

WEATHER & CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. All Rad Race Company events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy.
If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.
Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.
Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
If you are unable to participate in the event, upon request we can switch you to Virtual and you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal, and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. *See our virtual race information for complete details.
