The USA Triathlon High School Program encourages high school-aged athletes to participate in multisport regardless of skill level or experience. They benefit from the coaching, training and community support provided by associated adult multisport clubs, which also provide necessary gear and opportunities to race. The high school racing calendar culminates with each state's High School State Championship.

Details
You must be a USAT member.
High school athletes will be competing alongside other athletes, but will have their own results. Each triathlon event uses a time trial start, which means each athlete will start with no more then 5 people. This allows for a more safe and controlled start into the water.
Athletes may swim in open water, bike on roads that are opened to traffic, and run on roads that are either closed or have limited traffic. There will be EMS on site, along with safety personnel from local law enforcement.
