10k, 5k, 2mi. or 1mi.
Prepare for a thrilling run at the Sunrise Side Triathlons & Duathlon, featuring an out-and-back course that leads you to the airport and back. This flat, fast route offers ample space, scenic views, and plenty of shade from the surrounding trees.
As you exit the Transition Area, follow the designated run chute down Newman, past the finish line, and make a left onto Bay St. Continue along Bay St. until you reach Tawas Bay Beach Rd., where you'll turn left onto Lincoln.
Your turnaround points will be clearly marked along Lincoln with large A-frame signs, ensuring a smooth and straightforward route. Simply follow the course until you reach your designated turnaround sign (Sprint or Olympic) and then retrace your steps back to the Transition Area.
Upon your return, make a right onto Bay St. and then your final right onto Newman for the triumphant finish.
Please note that it is your responsibility to print maps and familiarize yourself with the courses beforehand, as they will not be available at the event.
Stay hydrated and fueled for success with aid stations stocked with water and lemon-lime Gatorade Endurance Formula at regular intervals along the route.

Throughout the run courses, support crews and the 3 Disciplines run course coordinator, operating from a mule, will monitor the route to ensure athlete safety. Athletes experiencing difficulties are encouraged to seek assistance from the course coordinator or aid stations, equipped with first aid and communication to facilitate any necessary support or transportation back to transition.
