Things you'll need

Triathlon is an expensive sport, but you don't have to spend a lot to get started! 

These are some basic things you'll need to get started: 

For the SWIM: 

Swimsuit, goggles, swim cap

For the BIKE:

A bike, bike helmet (required). a light 

You do not need a fancy bike to get started. If you already have a bike, bring it and we can help you decide if it will work or not. Most likely, if it fits, and if it functions, it will work for your first triathlon! 

For the RUN:

Shorts, tank top, running shoes, water bottle, hat or visor

You might want to purchase a tri kit (fancy name for the outfit you see people wearing at a triathlon) but it's ok to wait. Many people choose to wear a tank and shorts for their first triathlon. We will discuss attire further in one of our orientation sessions.
