Fundraising teams are groupings of fundraisers working towards a common goal.

IMPORTANT: Donations made directly to a “Fundraising Team” will not be attributed to a “Fundraiser”.

If you would like to associate your fundraiser with a new or existing fundraising team, then you will have the opportunity to create and/or join one during the registration process, after the registration process

You can create a Fundraising Team during the ride registration process.

Step by Step:

1. Begin your registration here
2. Enter your basic information and select the distance you want to complete
3. Agree to the waiver
4. Answer a few more questions, including t-shirt size and emergency contact info
5. On the next screen, "Donations," tap "Become a Fundraiser"
6. Fill all of the fields under the "Become a Fundraiser" section for yourself as a fundraiser
7. Under the following section, "Team Fundraiser," toggle "Create a Team Fundraiser" to Yes
8. Fill in the fields for your team's information
9. Complete your registration
10. Start adding members to your fundraiser team by sharing your unique signup link
11. Start sharing your team's fundraiser via the unique link to friends and family to begin receiving donations!

Step by Step:

7. In the following section "Team Fundraiser," use the "Join a Team Fundraiser" dropdown to find and select the team that you wish to join
8. Complete your registration
9. Start sharing your fundraiser via your unique link to friends and family to begin receiving donations for your team!

If you have already registered for the ride without creating a fundraiser or fundraiser team but would like to create one, then you can do so after registration by going to your Profile page, clicking on My Registered Races, and then selecting "Manage Registration". On the "Manage Registration" page, you can set up your fundraiser team by going to the tab labeled "Fundraiser".

Step by Step:

1. Sign In to Medford Ride For A Cause
2. Go to your Profile
3. Click My Registered Races
4. Click Manage next to the registration to Manage
5. Click Fundraiser in the top navigation bar to begin. The "Fundraiser" tab will redirect you to the "Donate" tab of the race page and the personal fundraiser options are opened up to you. From here, proceed to step 6 in the section above.

If you have already registered for the ride without joining a team but would like to join one, then you can do so after registration by going to your Profile page, clicking on My Registered Races, and then selecting "Manage Registration". On the "Manage Registration" page, you can join a team by going to the tab labeled "Fundraiser".

Step by Step:

2. Go to your Profile
3. Click My Registered Races
4. Click Manage next to the registration to Manage
5. Click Fundraiser in the top navigation bar to begin. The "Fundraiser" tab will redirect you to the "Donate" tab of the race page and the personal fundraiser options are opened up to you.
6. If you have not yet done so, fill in all of the fields in the "Become a Fundraiser" section to register yourself as a fundraiser
7. In the following section "Team Fundraiser," use the "Join a Team Fundraiser" dropdown to find and select the team that you wish to join

The option to create a custom “Fundraising Team Page URL” can be found after the fundraising team is created. Simply go to your “Profile”, click “My Fundraisers”, and then select “Edit Fundraiser” on the fundraising team. Here you can create a custom “Fundraising Team Page URL”, which allows for easier sharing of your fundraising team page amongst friends and family. Simply enter in text that is unique to your fundraising team after “https://www.medfordrideforacause.org/”, and remember that spaces are not permitted in a URL. The URL must contain only alphanumeric characters, underscores (_), or dashes (-).
