Kids' Training, Novice and Advanced
with the Las Vegas Kids Triathlon Club
Fun kid-friendly practices for both novice and experienced athletes under the guidance of a triathlon coach. Participants will condition muscles, improve bike handling, refine running technique, practice transitioning from one sport to the next, and learn how to compete safely.
Requirements
- Participants must be able to ride a bicycle without training wheels, confidently turn, travel uphill and downhill, and hold a current USAT Triathlon membership throughout the training session.
- A parent will need to volunteer for at least 2 bike practices. Parents can bring their own bike or a bike will be provided for them. Parents will get a little biking in themselves, encourage the kids, and post up at turn around points to monitor and safely direct our kid riders.
- It is hoped that all practices will go on as scheduled. In the event that practices are cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, or participants miss practices, all entry registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Registration fees will reduced if participants join the team after the start date and are reflected on the site.
