NTB Fun TRY Challenge

All proceeds from this event will go to the North Topsail Beach Volunteer Rescue & EMS and the Onslow county Parks & Rec Youth Scholarship fund. 

Funds received by the NTB Volunteer Rescue & EMS will be used to purchase rescue equipment and medical supplies needed to provide EMS & rescue services to the residents and visitors of North Topsail Beach. The all volunteer squad provide EMS, water rescue and vehicle extrication services. 

The funds received by the Onslow County Parks & Rec department will help support the youth scholarship fund enabling local youth to participate in sports and educational programs offered by Onslow county.

Unlike traditional Triathlons, this event will be totally ‘for fun’ encouraging participation from of a broad range of members of the community.  The event parameters allow participants of varying levels of fitness in each discipline to successfully complete each segment. Participants can opt to participate in 1, 2 or all 3 fitness challenges.

The event will not have monetary or placement awards but does allow each participant to have an awesome, fun, fitness experience ‘racing ’at their individual skill level. This provides the opportunity for personal goal accomplishments, self-achievement and confidence building while contributing and supporting the local community for lifesaving/rescue equipment and youth scholarship program.
