• Purchase insurance through RegShield while signing up for the event. Insurance can't be purchased after you sign up.

• Up to 2 weeks before registration closes a transfer can be requested. 

  • Trio Multisport LLC reserves the right to charge a $20 transfer fee.

    • If the transfer request is to another person, the fee will be payable by the new registrant.

• Up to 2 weeks before registration closes a deferral can be requested;

  • Trio Multisport LLC reserves the right to charge a $20 deferral fee.

Is the coverage fool proof? "RegShield covers scenarios that stand in the way of the participants making it to and experiencing the event – it is not by ticketholder’s choice; rather, it is by obstacle. They want to go, but cannot due to one of various covered reasons." (From link above)

Does RegShield require proof? Yes. Just like most insurance they do require proof and the documentation needed depends on the circumstances.
