Check racers off a list to ensure all have exited the water.
Ensure racers cross the timer mat.
Direct them to bathrooms & water station.
Take Photos & Cheer on racers!
Once all boats have come in clean area of any litter.
Haul signs & trach cans back to Nature Center (if possible).

Details

Race starts at 8:30 am with a staggered start, heats of 10 every 5 minutes. Approximate last boat launch will be 9:10 am.
Assist racers with unloading, carrying their kayak/canoe to the beach.
Help racers to get organized in heats
Take Photos
Cheer on racers
Once all boats are launched clean beach area of any litter and race markers.

Houston Beach / Mining area on the north side of the Root River Bridge(just before you enter the city of Houston on Highway 76)
