Motorcycle Roamer High Priority

Details

We need several motorcycles to roam the bike course on Saturday assisting any cyclists that might have minor repairs - tubes, easy mechanical. We will supply tools, pumps, tubes. You may also have to call to have a rider picked up who drops out.

Location

The bike course starts at the Old Victoria Inn and finishes in downtown Eureka Springs. It travels to Green Forest, up through the Blue Eye area back into Green Forest heading south and then loops back up towards Berryville before heading southwest again coming into Eureka on Rockhouse Road and then on to Passion Play.

It is a very scenic and interesting road to ride! On either kind of bike - moto or bicycle! If you can't stay the whole day that's fine just let me know what time you need to leave.

Safety Kayakers High Priority

Details

People with kayaks to provide support to tired swimmers during the Triathlon. You will paddle in a zone area next to the swimmers, who may hold onto your boat temporarily to rest. There will be safety boats and lifeguards in the water as well.

Jet Skiis High Priority

Details

You will assist in watching for swimmers who may be tired in the water. If your jet ski can fit 2 people we will put a lifeguard on the back with you in case any swimmer is having trouble.

The swimming portion will take place near the bridge.

Corner Marshal High Priority

Details

Friday - we need volunteers to assist on select corners on Holiday Island during the Triathlon. You will assist in keeping traffic from entering roads while racers are passing and by keeping athletes on course.
Saturday - we need volunteers to assist in at several intersection in the Eureka Springs area and with parking in downtown Eureka.
Sunday - volunteers on corners for the run course in downtown Eureka.

Aid Station High Priority

You will assist in passing out water and Gatorade to athletes as they pass by.

Location

Friday - on the golf course at Holiday Island. Check in at the Island Room at the Recreation center for directions.

Saturday - Various locations on the bike course around Green Forest / Berryville / Blue Eye

Sunday - Downtown Eureka Springs
