Claytor Lake Ness Monster Obstacle Course Race

As of today, the Claytor Lake Ness Monster (April 25, 2020) and all other TriAdventure races are on track as scheduled.

We understand and share the world’s concern regarding the serious outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and recognize the situation is dynamic and evolves each day.

We continue to review and adapt our planning strategies as more is learned. All decisions regarding our events will be made in concert with recommendations from the CDC and Virginia and local Health Departments.

We remain optimistic that we’ll see you at the start line on April 25 but continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation cautiously.

Should a race be canceled, due to the Corona Virus situation we will send info directly to the racers, offering info on the following choices:

Defer to 2021: Defer your race entry to 2021 before the original race date.
Donate Your Entry: Do nothing. We will mail you a receipt noting your tax-deductible donation to Fitness In Action, and you get to know that you are helping keep a small race going into the future.
Take a refund: Your entry fee can be returned should the race be canceled as a result of the Corona Virus situation. Taxes and Fees will not be refunded. We must know of your decision to take your refund within 21 days of canceling the event.
If the race continues as planned there will be no refunds.

The most important challenge of all is to keep yourself and those around you healthy. This is a trying time for all of us. Use common sense, respect the rules, be patient. Stay home! Your health and safety, as well as that of those all around us, is our number one priority.

The Claytor Lake Ness Monster is a challenging, but doable obstacle course race featuring 3-4 miles of wild terrain and wicked obstacles. For those who want to challenge themselves beyond a fun run this is YOUR event. We welcome everyone from beginners, families, kids to experience racers. 

Families are welcome, but we ask that children 12 & under race with an adult. 13 and over will be at the discretion of the parent- please note that the course takes you through the woods and your child should be comfortable with navigating course markings.

New this year: 23 years old and under pricing applied automatically at checkout.
Jan- Apr 12, 2020: $30
Apr 13- 24, 2020: $35

No additional student pricing will be offered. 

Sign up before April 10th to receive a t-shirt. We will not guarantee a t-shirt if you sign up after, it will be first come first serve on the extra t-shirts.
