Race Day and Packet Pick-up

Friday, June 13 - Day before the race

12pm - 8pm at the race site;
  • Packet pick-up
  • Bike drop-off with overnight security

NOT MANDATORY BUT RECOMMENDED.  See the parking information below.  

**On this day ONLY - you are able to drive to the race site.  See the parking information below for race day instructions.

**This race venue has no cell service available.  Please understand that the Wilson Endurance Sports team will be on the race site beginning Thursday and will not be able to respond to messages, emails or phone calls. 

 

 

Saturday, June 14 - RACE DAY

 

 7:00am - Race start for Sprint Triathlon, Double Ti  & Sprint AquaBike & Sprint Relay Teams

 

 9:00am - Race start for Olympic Triathlon, Double Ti,  & Olympic AquaBike & Olympic Relay Teams

Triathlon, Sprint & Olympic  - Top 3 Overall Male and Female and M/F 5 year age groups 19&U - 80+,

Double Ti  & Double Ti~Aquabike- Top 3 Overall Male and Female

Relay Teams - Top 3 Overall

Paratriathletes - Top 3 Overall Male and Female

AquaBike, Sprint & Olympic - Top 3 Overall Male and Female

 

POST RACE:

Race T-shirts (for those registered prior to the t-shirt cut-off date of May 19)

Finisher medals

Beer Garden supplied by Southern Tier Brewing Company (must be 21 years of age)

Post-race food will be provided by The Wind Chill Factory.  Free to all participants and volunteers; for purchase by spectators.  CASH ONLY

 

COURSE SUPPORT:

Water & Hammer Nutrition in transition, and three locations on the run course. No fluids are offered on the bike course.
Port-a-johns at race start/finish

Male/Female changing tents located next to transition.

There will be no bike support at the venue.  Please be prepared.  

Parking

THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT THE RACE SITE!

 SPECTATORS, HANDICAPPED PARKING STICKERS, AND ATHLETES WILL ALL BE REQUIRED TO PARK OFF-SITE AND TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS.

Bike drop-off on Friday evening is encouraged with overnight security provided.

There will be a shuttle bus provided on race day running from the Elks Lodge on 5 Tower Avenue (3 miles from race site)  5am - 5pm. SEE MAP BELOW.

YOU MUST PLAN ENOUGH TIME TO ALLOW FOR THE SHUTTLE BUS THAT WILL BE TRANSPORTING EVERY PARTICIPANT TO THE RACE SITE;

 

All athletes who do not drop bikes off on Friday must park at the Elk's Lodge AND RIDE YOUR BIKE to the race site.  3 miles. 

BIKES and DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE BUS. 

HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES

After the race is over - the shuttle bus will continue to run until all participants have left.  FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY, INCLUDING YOUR OWN, THERE WILL BE NO VEHICLES PERMITTED NEAR THE RACE SITE.   THIS WILL ALL BE EXPLAINED IN THE ATHLETE GUIDE AND SUBSEQUENT EMAILS.  

IF YOU OR YOUR SPECTATORS PARK A VEHICLE NEAR THE SITE OR COME DOWN THE ROAD FOR DROP-OFF, WE WILL BE GIVING THE ATHLETE A DQ.  

THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF ALL OF OUR ATHLETES.  PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

We highlight this and repeat because it is extremely important.  WE WILL DISQUALIFY ANY ATHLETE THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES!

SPRINT ATHLETES CANNOT BRING THEIR CARS TO PICK-UP BIKES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT UNTIL AFTER THE OLYMPIC ATHLETES HAVE COMPLETED THE BIKE PORTION OF THEIR RACE.  WE WILL MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS AT THE RACE SITE. 

THIS WILL ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS.

Race communications are sent out regularly via email.  If you are NOT receiving these, you must contact the race administrator.  It is your responsibility to know the information that is included in the Athlete Guide and to follow the procedures on race day for the safety of all of our athletes.
