3rd Annual "The Strong Shall Stand" Veteran's Day 5k Run/Ruck

In 2021, Planet Beach (Longview, Tx) created an amazing event support a veteran focused non profit near and dear to their heart. 

Operation True North is honored to be given the opportunity to continue the legacy that they started in our East Texas community and host the 3rd Annual Veteran's Day 5k Run or Ruck and Fun Run.  Proceeds from the 5k will benefit our organization and our mission to provide mental health services to veterans, first responders, medical health care workers and their families.

Our goal is to donate $20,000 to the foundation through sponsorships registration fees. 

Registration is $40 and includes a race day T-shirt as well as a swag bag for the first 200 participants.  Don't want to run or ruck? No problem! All ages welcome and walking is encouraged. If you are physically unable to run or ruck, just sign up for the Fun Run!

Registration will begin at 7:30 am, Saturday November 16, located at Operation True North.  We will walk/run/ruck to the City of Longview's Teague Park and which is the home of our city's veteran memorials.  Promptly following the race, we will have results for top female runner, top female rucker, top male runner and top male rucker.

This event is the perfect opportunity to surround yourself with those that honor our military and fallen. We can't wait to see you there!
