Miss Emily's Kids' Turkey Trot

Have a blast wobbling.... before you start gobbling! This turkey trot is the Saturday before Thanksgiving in Dumas, Texas so locals can still run on thanksgiving in Amarillo too! There is something for everyone in this race set, with a competitive 10k, competitive and non-competitive 5k, and a fun run/walk (1-mile). The little ones are welcome too! The little gobbler's dash is for kids 10 and under and they can walk, run, bike, scoot or stroll a 200-yard dash filled with goodies and cheers! Gobblers, non-competitors, and fun run participants receive a t-shirt and pin for their participation and all top 8 runners in their age category (5 age groups) will earn a medal! The top 2 in every category receive a prize!  Also... those who love to dress up or entertain... there is a prize for most spirited in the races too! Join us for food and fun, and silent auction during and after! The proceeds of this event support Miss Emily's Kids Inc Childcare Center in Dumas Tx. This will help them with their winter events and for repairs needed throughout their center! See you there!
