**USA TRIATHLON AGE-UP RULE — Whatever age the child will be on December 31st is the age group he/she will compete in. For example, if he/she is 10 years old on race day, but will turn 11 sometime before the end of the calendar year, he/she will compete in the 11 year old age group AND on the associated course. — If the child will turn 16 before the end of the calendar year, they cannot compete in the SuperKids events; they’ll need to register for one of Sunday’s events.
What do I need to bring to pick up my child's race packet?
Great question. Glad you asked. For USAT sanctioned events we are required to see each participant’s government issued ID or USAT membership card. Now, since these are all kiddos we ask that parents or guardians, please bring your ID and the QR code in your email.

Volunteers can assist your child in packing up if you need to leave the event early. Please abide by this rule as it is for the safety of the kids competing.
Transition bike racks will be assigned according to age, please rack your child's bike on the appropriate rack. (Age at the end of 2024). Team Toledo volunteers will be in to assist with questions on set up.
Rack your bike by the saddle with the front wheel pointing down. Place your gear on the ground to the right (when looking at your bike) front tire. Many athletes will use a towel to place their gear on.
Water Safety
Lifeguards and staff from Olander Park will be in the water with the kids at all times. Please let the kids know to listen for instruction while they are swimming, the most likely instruction will be directional to keep the kids on course.
