Bag check will be available during check-in race morning. We will also provide duct tape for participants to wrap around shoes so they do not get removed unwillingly. 

This isn't your average road race! Our course winds through the natural trails and evolving ecosystem of the spillway, offering a dynamic and unpredictable experience. Expect unpaved surfaces, potential elevation changes, and the thrill of navigating through the Louisiana landscape.

Be Prepared: The Bonnet Carre Spillway is a natural environment, and conditions can vary. Participants should be prepared for:

• Muddy and Wet Conditions: Depending on recent rainfall, expect sections of the course to be muddy, wet, and potentially slippery.
• Uneven Terrain: The trails are natural and may include roots, rocks, and other obstacles.
• Summer Heat and Humidity: July in Louisiana brings high temperatures and humidity. Please hydrate adequately and be prepared for the conditions.

• This is an off-road event, and participants are strongly encouraged to wear appropriate footwear (trail shoes recommended).
