Course
The swim takes place in Pinchot Lake followed by an out and back crolling bike course with some challenging hills around the park. The run course is a mix of pavement and trails.
SWIM
Swim Course (Sprint - 500m, Olympic - 1500m)
The swim will be a single loop (Sprint) or double loop (Olympic) in picturesque Pinchot Lake. The water temperature in September, historically ranges from 60-80 F.
BIKE - Strava Bike Route (Sprint)
Bike Course (Sprint - 10.5 miles - 725' elevation gain, Olympic - 21.1 miles, 1475' elevation gain)
The bike course is and out and back loop (Sprint) or two loops (Olympic) outside of the park. It is a challenging, scenic ride on well-paved country roads. This is a CLOSED bike course!
RUN - Strava Run Route
Run Course (Sprint - 5k - 246' elevation gain, Olympic - 10k - 512' elevation gain)
The run course is an out and back following park roads. There is a large 150' climb topping out at 14% grade in the middle of each loop that is guaranteed to challenge all athletes! The surface is a 95% pavement with a small mix of gravel and grass.
