COURSE MARKINGS
The entire course is marked through a combination of small orange logo'd survey flags on the ground and circular arrows at turns or important areas. These arrows also point which way to start your swim. Big bright logo'd swim exit flags mark your swim exits as well.
RESTROOMS
There are a handful of permanent structure restrooms located on the course but we do not bring any portable restrooms in for the event.
ON-COURSE HYDRATION
We will have water stops stocked with at least water and precision hydration all over the World Series and Sprint courses. Most of them will also have gels. There are a number of black bears in the area so be extra aware of your trash and as with any other race be sure to dispose of it properly and leave NOTHING behind. We have to leave our courses in the same or even better shape than we find them. If you are in the experience distance race please take whatever hydration and nutrition you need, with you from the start. We will have some available at the start/finish. At most, there will be one set of coolers on the experience course but may be none.
POST RACE FOOD & DRINK
All finishers will have access to post race food and drink near the finish line area.
SAFETY
All of our courses are open. This means that although we have boats monitoring traffic in the water, everyone should be alert and aware of their surroundings at all times. On land all trails are open to the public and any road crossings may have vehicular or bicycle traffic. Always look both ways before crossing. On the course we have safety boats and kayaks as well as land medics traversing pivotal areas most likely to require their attention. We cannot cover every mile of the course at all times, that’s why having a teammate is beneficial. Also remember to carry all mandatory gear during the race, some of it includes safety essentials.
COURSE MEDICAL
We will have medical stationed at the start/finish line and also roaming the entire course throughout the day.
GOOGLE COURSE MAPS
Click the button below to be taken to a live Google Map of our race site. This will show parking, start and post race, course maps, and more! Doing this while onsite should show your position (blue dot) in relation to everything to do with the race. This map is especially great for spectators and volunteers.
