Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration
Approximately 2 days before the event you will receive an email notifying you of your race bib number. If you arrive at the check-in and do not know your number in advance, you may look it up in the alphabetical list posted near the registration tables. Only competitors may pick up their numbers in person and with a photo ID. You may not pick up a race packet for anyone else. Please do not get in line for check-in if you do not know your race number and have a photo ID.

Upon Arrival

  1. Before getting online to receive your race packet, place your bike on the bike rack that corresponds to your bib/race number.
  2. Know your race/bib number and have your ID ready!
  3. Proceed to the check-in line that corresponds to your race number. Please do not bring your bike to the check-in line.

Race Numbers & Electronic Timing
Check the label affixed to the timing tag (on the front of your bib number) for correct information regarding your name, age, gender, and category. Notify officials prior to the race of any mistakes. You must wear the run number on your front, and be clearly visible to race officials at ALL times. Do not fold the magnetic strip attached to the bib number. If you enter the transition area or cross the finish line and your number is not clearly visible on your front, you will receive a 2-minute penalty. The 2-sided vinyl (adhesive-backed) bike frame number must be attached to the front of the top tube of your bicycle. For security reasons, it may not be removed until you leave the transition area. Discard the chip. You don't have to return it. You may not use any chip other than the one that is assigned to you. Wearing any other chip could lead to errors in overall timing and your disqualification. Bikes and equipment may be removed by competitors ONLY upon showing
BOTH the run number and bike number to the security personnel.

Refund Policy
Please be aware that there are no refunds. During the registration process, we provide the opportunity to purchase insurance. We encourage participants to review this option in order to be prepared for any unforeseen issues. The New York Triathlon Club is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to producing triathlons, duathlons, and multi-sport events for educational purposes, racing, physical fitness, and recreation throughout the tri-state area. Each season we incur non-refundable expenses and upfront costs, e.g. permits, insurance, storage, rent, and donations to participating organizations.

Course

Since we added the triathlon we moved the transition area closer to the Seaplane Kayak Launch. You drive to the same area as the previous year, just continue all the way to the water.
