Description
Join us at The River Edge Swim Club (RESC) on Saturday June 22nd for some friendly competition for all ages!
- Saturday June 22nd beginning at 9AM ET with registration and warm-up starting at 7:30AM ET.
- Male and female divisions. Open to all swimmers, runners, novices, joggers, bobbers, etc.
- Participants will compete in races in their age groups consisting of distance swimming and running.
- This event is open to ALL Bergen County families for friendly competition.
- Fee amount: $30/per participant, $35 week-of registration, and $40 day-of registration.
- All River Edge Rockets Swim Team Members receive $10 off your registration.
- Groupings:
- Ages 5-6 “Parent and Me” - Swim distance: 15 meters / Run distance: 100 meters
- Ages 7-8 - Swim distance: 25 meters (1 lap) / Run distance: ~400 meters (0.25 mile)
- Ages 9-10 - Swim distance: 50 meters (2 laps) / Run distance: 1K (.62 mile)
- Ages 11-12 - Swim distance: 100 meters (4 laps) / Run distance: 2K (~1.25 miles)
- Ages 13-14 - Swim distance: 150 meters (6 laps) / Run distance: 2.5K (~1.55 miles)
- Ages 15-17 - Swim distance: 200 meters (8 laps) / Run distance: 3K (~1.86 miles)
- Ages 18+ Calling all PARENTS AND FORMER RACERS! This is a friendly beginners course or perfect for a seasoned veteran to SUPER SPRINT! - Swim distance: 250 meters (10 laps) / Run distance: ~3.22K (2 miles)
- Event will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, a make-up date is set for Saturday June 29th if necessary.
The Splash N’ Dash Event is sponsored by The River Edge Swim Club (RESC), which is a private swim facility.
Full-time RESC memberships are open to all Bergen County residents and are available for the summer!
The Splash N Dash is not an activity of the River Edge BOE, Cherry Hill or Roosevelt Schools, or St. Peter Academy.
