Virtual Event Info
If you can't make the live event for any reason, there are several options to complete the event virtually to earn race swag plus Lonestar Splash 'N Dash bonuses. Virtual events are a great way to get active out in your own neighborhood without having to travel to a live event. You can race on your own time, on your own course, and still compete against those who will be racing at the live event.
Completing the event is easy, just complete the event as described below and submit your results!
Putting together a small group to complete the virtual race together?
Contact us to see what kind of extra support we can offer including signage, results and timing, etc. to make your small group virtual race feel more like a live race experience.
Virtual Splash 'N Dash
Complete the same activities as the live race with your very own virtual splash 'n dash. Participants will need to complete a run, swim, and run back-to-back-to-back in order to have their results officially counted. The distances can be anything you are comfortable with but we recommend a minimum of 1 mile run followed by a 125-meter swim followed by another 1-mile run.
Virtual Activity Challenge
Don't have access to a pool to swim? No problem, we've got you covered with the virtual activity challenge. Participants will need to record a minimum of 5 hours of activities over the course of the challenge month. This can be any activity you do throughout a normal day or something special you plan throughout the month.
Go for a 30 minute run? Log it in your results. Play outside with your friends for an hour? Log it in your results. No activity is off limits but you will need to include the details when you log your results.
Submitting Your Results
The simplest way to submit your results click the button below to go to the Results page, click the Submit Virtual Results button, and complete the form listed. There are a few different ways to submit your results, check out the RunSignup tutorial for Submitting and Managing Virtual Results.
You'll be receiving a few reminder emails throughout the challenge as well so don't worry about setting any calendar reminders.
Virtual Race Packets
Virtual race packets will be mailed to participants at the conclusion of the challenge period. Your items will be shipped via USPS with tracking and you'll receive a tracking number to the email you used to register once the packets are scanned in at the post office. We'll send some additional details about packet shipping to ensure you are informed throughout the entire process.
