Course Logistics & Hydration

Route Markers
The course will be marked using a series of colored arrows at turns and forks. Pin flags will also be used in areas the soil will allow them to be used. Runners are encouraged to download route files if they have a Garmin, Strava or Coros type watch that accepts map files.  Email us for a .gpx or .hml file.

Course Marshals
Course Marshals will be dispersed along the race routes as the eyes and ears of the Race Director.  They are there to assist with guidance and directions and to help ensure racers stay safe and on course at key intersections. Since there are no hydration aid stations on the course they will also observe how runners on the 10k route are performing.

Aid Stations & Hydration
Due to the short nature of the courses there will be no hydration aid stations along the 5k routes.  Runners are encouraged to know their limits, carry plenty of water for the length and duration they plan to run.  The 10k route will have one aid station at the half way point at Balanced Rock Cove.  In order to eliminate waste or littering this is a cupless event, meaning runners must have their own water bladder or flask for refilling.

A hydration station in the start finish line area will be available for all runners to grab water and packets of LMNT for replenishing necessary electrolytes.

First Aid
We will have a first aid booth in the Start/Finish line area staffed by Local Community Emergency Response Team volunteers.  Basic first aid only.
