The PRIMARY Mission of the Cleveland Furniture Bank is to provide furniture for families in need... to restore hope to Northeast Ohio residents in need by providing basic home furnishings that help turn a house into a home and create a more stable living environment.
Founded in 2006, the Cleveland Furniture Bank serves 246 agencies and organizations referring thousands of individuals in need each year. On an annual basis, Cleveland Furniture Bank provides over 18,000 pieces of furniture to between 3000 and 3500 individuals.
CFB’s Thrift Store - located at 13360 Smith Road, Middleburg Heights, in the Southland Shopping Center. - provides new and gently used furniture, clothing, household goods, small and large appliances to many customers each year that may not be able to shop in the larger retail outlets. Over 35,000 people take advantage of the opportunity to find great buys in their store. Every dollar donated to the Cleveland Furniture Bank helps to bring hope to a person or family in need.
The Furniture Bank created the Beds 4 Kids program in 2012. Since then, it has given away over 10,700 beds, to children between the ages of 0 and 17. Each year it distributes around 1,200 beds.
