Description
The Dinosaur Run is a single 5K course with options including 5K, 10K, 2 Hour, 4 Hour, 6 Hour, and 24 Hour options.
5K: One 5K loop
10K: Two 5K loops
2 Hour: How many 5K loops can you do before time runs out?
4 Hour: How many 5K loops can you do before time runs out?
6 Hour: How many 5k loops can you do before time runs out?
24 Hour: How many loops can you do before time runs out?
The race takes place at the San Angelo State Park, equestrian entrance. Race starts at Bell's Trailhead.

This course is a single 5K loop. It is the same as the 5K course of the Crazy Desert Trail Race (crazydesert.org).

If you need an address to type into a GPS, you can use 7164 FM 2288, San Angelo, TX 76901 and then go 0.3 miles Southeast to the Equestrian Camping Area (NOT the "North Entrance").
The sign says "Equestrian Camping Area". This is NOT the "North Entrance", which is about 0.1 miles Northeast of this gate.
Timed Races
For timed races only (2 Hour and 4 Hour options):
What is a timed race?
The main idea of a timed race is.... Who can complete the most loops before time is up?! The winner of this race is the person that completes the highest number of 5K loops before the time limit is up.
What is the policy on ties?
In the case of a tie in the timed races, the tie breaker is who completes their final lap first.
What if the timer runs out while I'm on the course?Only laps completed within the time limit count. If you are on the course when the time runs out, that lap will not count toward your total.
