Experience Shelby Farms Park after dark at the BuffaGLO Fun Run presented by Brother!
BuffaGLO Fun Run Start Time: 7:00 PM
This family-friendly 2.25-mile fun run is the kick-off to Starry Nights. Dress in fluorescent gear and get ready to GLO! This race will be untimed, strollers are welcome, and dogs are allowed on-leash. The brightest part? Race registration fees benefit Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline!

The Park will be closed from 4PM-6PM for regular closing hours. The Park will reopen at 6:00 PM for BuffaGLO participants! Use the entrance at Farm Road - all other entrances will be closed after sunset.

Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help at the BuffaGLO Fun Run with tasks including greeting and interacting with visitors, directing traffic, assisting in the ticket booth, and spreading holiday cheer. To view the sign-up sheet, please click HERE.
Volunteers must be 15+ for this event. You must be able to complete the ENTIRE shift. This is a night event with late end times, so if transportation is a challenge, we ask that you volunteer at another Park event. If your family is volunteering together, younger volunteers are welcome to serve alongside a parent/guardian.
This is a great opportunity for schools, corporate, church, or community groups to volunteer and serve together!

Is the BuffaGLO Fun Run timed?
The BuffaGLO is an untimed fun run! The course will close at 9:00pm, so you can set your own pace for this race!
What is the route distance?
Participants will complete a loop that is just under 2.5 miles, including the distance from the parking lot to the start line.
Can I do the BuffaGLO Fun Run with a stroller?
Yes, strollers are welcome!
Do I need to register a child in a stroller?
Kids in strollers can cruise through for free with an adult registration! You will not need to register your child for this event.
Can my dog join the fun?
Yes! Please keep your pet on leash, leash in hand throughout the event and be sure to pick up any "presents" they may leave behind.
What do my race fees + fundraising efforts support?
Your presence at the BuffaGLO Fun Run is a present for Shelby Farms Park! This event benefits Shelby Farms Park Conservancy (the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that manages and operates Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline), and your registration fees will help keep these special spaces clean, green, open and operating 365 days a year!
