Springbrook Sprint Triathlon

Podium Sports Medicine Grand Prix #3. Race Day Events returns to Springbrook Pool for the 13th annual Springbrook Sprint Tri, but this time on MEMORIAL DAY. The fastest race on the RDE calendar, with a 200 yard swim, flat 9 mile bike, and a 3 mile run through Springbrook Park. Overall, age group, & relay divisions/awards.  Soft cotton shirts for men, with the popular NEXT LEVEL  tanks back for the ladies. Post-race “cookout”.  Alcoa Middle School faculty is the volunteer group and donation recipient. Springbrook Sprint is a USAT santioned event.  Expected participation—250

Packet pickup/late registration info:                                                                                                                                                                                                           Saturday, May 26--Bike N Tri, 601 E. Broadway (Maryville)  3 to 5pm
Sunday, May 27--Fleet Feet Sports, 11619 Parkside Dr., 1 to 4pm
Day of race--Springbrook Pool, 636 Vose Rd, 6:30 to 7:45am.      Day of race individual registration is $70, relays are $85.       

BEGINNER CLINIC will be conducted immediately following packet pickup at Fleet Feet Sports on Sunday.  Shahin Hadian of Fleet Feet will demonstrate proper transition set up and technique, as well as what to wear, what to eat...........everything the beginner triathlete needs to know.  First time triathletes are strongly encouraged to attend.
