Description
Join us August 29th for the Dresden Swim Center Splash n Dash and 5k Run hosted by the Tri-Valley Swim Team. A Splash and Dash also known an Aquathon is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines running and swimming. The run can take place on a trail, a road or a path. Similarly, the swim can take place in any body of water like a pool or lake. *All Donations and a portion of the net proceeds from this event will support the Tri-Valley Swim Team

RACE COURSE
Splash & Dash (Adult - 400m swim / 5k run) (Youth 11-14 - 100m swim / 2 Mile run) (Youth 10 & Under - 100m swim / 1 Mile run)
The Swim portion of the Splash & Dash will be a single file start and depending on your age will be a 100m or 400m serpentine swim in an outdoor Olympic distance pool. The Run portion will start at the Dresden Swim Center and then will be an out and back route using the Muskingum Recreational Trail. The turn arounds will be at the 1/2 mile mark (Youth 10 & Under) , the 1 mile mark (Youth 11-14) and the 1.55 mile mark (Adult) Water stations will be at the turn around for each of the races and the finish line. *Participants may "Race Up" to a longer distance race by selecting that event at registration.
5k Race – The route will be the same as the Splash n Dash. It follows the Muskingum Recreational Trail for 1.55 miles to the turn around and then returns to the finish line located in front of the Dresden Swim Center. Water stations will be at the turn around and finish line.
AWARDS
All Finishers will receive a Finishers medal!
Awards will be issued to the top three overall female and male finishers In the adult Splash & Dash and also the 5k.
Awards will also be issued to the top three female/males in each of the following age categories:
Splash & Dash: Under 10, 11-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
5K: Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

RACE PACKETS & FINISH LINE PERKS
Your race packet will include a Premium race-shirt with the official race logo among other sponsor items to be determined. Finish line food and beverage will also be available at the conclusion of the race. *Register by Aug. 23rd to be Guaranteed a Race Day T‐shirt.
PACKET PICK UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Packet pick-up and race day registration will begin race morning starting a 6:30am in front of the Dresden Swim Center.
ENTRY FEES: (NON-REFUNDABLE)
Splash n Dash: (Adult) Register through August 15th - $35 / Register August 16th to race day- $40
Splash n Dash: (Youth) Register through August 15th - $30 / Register August 16th to race day- $35
5k Run/Walk: Register through August 15th - $25 / Register August 16th to race day- $30
*All Donations and a portion of the net proceeds from this event will support the Tri-Valley Swim Team
REFUND POLICY
****NOTE****
If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race for any reason, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
