EventPower strives to produce quality and safe events for all participants. Please know that at this point we have made the tough decision to cancel this triathlon.
We have been given the unique opportunity to produce the TOBAY Triathlon on August 28th. We do not feel that it is in the participants best interest to race two weekends in a row and now this will divide athletes between two races that are both so close to each other in location and close in the race course distance – both sprint triathlons. The TOBAY Triathlon has been part of the Long Island Triathlon community for 34 years and due to its longstanding history we have decided to continue to host that race this year. The Huntington Triathlon date cannot be moved because it must be held on a Sunday with a high tide.
