Description

This USATF Certified Course (formerly used by the Star of Hope Half) will take you through beautiful country roads in Robbinsville Township. The course starts at Robbinsville Community Park, passes by scenic farmlands and the historic Robbin's House.

DESCRIPTION:
The Mercer County Half Marathon takes place in Robbinsville Township, New Jersey.
The half marathon is a USATF certified course. 

SCHEDULE:
*SUNDAY September 1st, 2024
6AM-7:45AM On-site registration and number pick-up
8:00AM - RACE START
10:30AM AWARDS

HALF MARATHON RACE FEES

$65 for the first 100 participants
  $75 for participants 101-200
    $85 for participants 201-300
      $100 for participants 301-400
        $120 for participants 401+
          $130 day of sign ups (if available)  

THE COURSE:
The course is a USATF Certified 13.1 mile course, mostly flat along country roads. The course will not be closed to traffic but this is a rural area. Police and certified flagmen will be at all road intersections.  Road course support will end at 11:00 AM. THIS IS A HARD CUTOFF. Our pace team sweepers will stay with the last few people for support and encouragement! 
Participants MUST maintain a minimum average pace to finish in about 3 hours (13:44/mile).

Finisher medals to all finishers.
AWARDS  TOP 3 OVERALL MALE/FEMALE/NON-BINARY
Stick around afterwards for beverages, post race food and music.
T-shirts for registrants before August 4th, 2023. Then while supplies last.

EVENT CANCELATION POLICY:
There is NO rain date. The race will be held Rain/Snow or Shine.

In case of inclement weather, the organization reserves the right to cancel/alter/modify the race/course for safety concerns. In any case, there will be No Refunds of race entry fees nor is there guarantee of any complementary race entry to a future race. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid. Monies collected are used to develop and produce the event. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all. Any decision made to cancel or modify the race is based on the overall event and participant safety.

Referrals

Earn $20 of your registration fee back after 5 friends sign up using your referral link.

Referrals are automated. A registrant can not be added as your referral if they've already registered without using your personal referral link.

Pace Group Support

Pace Team Services will be provided by Beast Pacing.
There will be 2 pacers/time slot for the following finish times: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, and 3:00.

Beast Pacing provides pacers for events across the United States. Beast pacers are professional, but have FUN while helping other runners reach their goals. Whether it is a Boston Qualifying Time you are looking for, a P.R., or just someone to run with, we are there to help! BP pacers are chosen for their ability to successfully lead a group while keeping them motivated all the way to the finish. Pacers are assigned to Half Marathon times 10 minutes slower than they typically run and are required to finish the race within 1 minute of goal time, but never over.

Preferred Lodging

While many of our participants will be local residents, there are some who will be traveling from across the region and want to stay the night.

We are proud to be partnering with the Holiday Inn Express - Bordentown Trenton-South which is 15 minutes away from the start / finish of the race.

The Holida Inn Express has given us a block of rooms at a discounted group rate.

The negotiated group rate of $149/night is valid until August 17th, 2024.

Hotel check in time is at 3:00 pm and departure time is at 11:00 am

They serve a complimentary hot breakfast each morning from 6:00 am – 10:00 am.

Individual cancellation is 1 day prior to arrival by 6pm EST.

 

 

Transfers, Deferrals and Bib Exchanges

We love our participants and we want you to feel secure when registering for one of our races. With the use of Runsignup.com's platform we can now offer the following solutions for those who can no longer participate or who would like to change events.

Cutoff date for all transfers or deferrals is one week prior to race day.

EVENT TRANSFER: Change from one event to another within the same race for a $5 transfer fee (if applicable).
DEFERRAL VIA VOUCHER CREDIT: Receive a voucher credit for the amount you paid for registration. Voucher credit expires 365 days from being issued and is good for use on any Beast Coast Productions event. There is a $10 deferral fee.
RACE BIB TRANSFER: You will have the option to transfer your race bib to another runner of your choosing for a $10 transfer fee. This must be done before registration closes.
           To edit or transfer your race registration: Log into your RunSignUp account. Go to your “Profile” page, click the “My Registered Races” and view a list of your               registrations separated by race, event,  date  and registrant. Next to each registrant, you will be able to “View/Edit Registration,” which is where you will need                 to go to transfer your registration to another participant.  

How do I transfer my Race Entry/Bib to another runner or to another race distance?

Runners can transfer their race to another runner ($10 fee), or to another race event within the same race if applicable ($5 fee). Transferring options can be found by going to your “Profile” page, clicking on “My Registered Races”, and then selecting “Edit/View Registration”. Please login to RunSignUp with the user account you used to register. Deadline to transfer from an in-person event is at registration close.
