Water Temperature Race Day 6/15: TBD
- USAT rules state that competitors are REQUIRED to wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 60.8 degrees and lower.
- USAT rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is between 60.9 and 78.0 degrees.
- USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1 – 83.9 degrees, competitors may wear wetsuits but will NOT be eligible for awards.
- If the water temperature is 84.0 degrees or above, competitors may NOT wear wetsuits.
DQ Events Race Series
This event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and DQ Events Club Challenge.
You are scored for an overall placement, an age group placement, and for finishing the event. At the end of the series there will be prizes for free entries for next season and more! Kayak and Non-Multisport events do not gain points.
To be scored in the Grand Prix all you have to do is place in the Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!
To be scored in the Club Challenge you need to select your club during registration and then place in Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!

ABOUT THE RACE
CURRENT LAKE WATER TEMP- FRDIAY June 14th is 75 Degrees
Trident Multisport was established in 2012 with the idea of bringing quality multisport events to our local area and has worked hand and hand with DQ Events and their staff for over the last 11 years. We have established some high quality, fun, safe events that include the Phoenix Sprint, the Survival of the Mills, and the Brookville Olympic/Sprint.
PACKET PICKUP / REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Registration is digital but we will also have paper sign-ups race morning. There will be on site registration with CASH only and online registration closes at the start of the race. Please have the following items easily accessible to maintain the efficiency and speed of Packet Pickup:
- Required: Athletes may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person.
- Required: Proof of ID
- Required for Annual Members Only: USAT Membership ID
- Optional: Email Confirmation Bar Code per registrant (Printed or Digital) to scan

Friday
5 - 6:30 pm - (Optional) Check-in and Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration online only if available at race site. (You can pick up packet race morning, please arrive early to allow enough time)
Saturday
5:45 - 6:50 am - Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration both paper (cash only) and online only if available (prices increased)
6:45 am - Pre-race briefing at Transition Area, after the briefing we will require ALL SWIMMERS to cross over the Swim timing mat before we can start the race
7:00 am - Races start (waves based on # of entrants)
9:30 am - Post-Race Party, Refreshments, & Awards Ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co.
POST-RACE PARTY & AWARDS CEREMONY
9:30 am - There will be a party & awards ceremony at ManaFirkin Brewing Co. with drink specials. Food/ snacks will also be provided. The brewery is less than one mile from the Race Site. DISTANCES
Stafford Township is located just minutes from beautiful Long Beach Island. Come down, race, and enjoy a nice weekend on the white sandy beaches of LBI before summer gets into full swing. The Stafford Race course is flat and fast. The swim is in a deep fresh water lake. The bike course will be fast and is freshly paved and smooth (when the bridge construction is complete, we hope to add it back to the bike course). The run takes you along the lake road through the quiet neighborhood of Deer Lake Park. The run is an out and back course so you can keep an eye on and track down your competition. You don't want to miss this event.

This is a USAT Sanctioned event. All participants must have an active USAT Membership that has not expired before the conclusion of the event and must follow all USAT rules and guidelines.

Common Rules and Information
- ALL athletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Youth (17 and under) athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID
- Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT Sanctioned event.

- Athletes may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person.
- No drafting: a maximum of 15 seconds will be allowed to complete a pass through the draft zone of another athlete
- Headphones are prohibited
- No riding in transition at any time
- Helmets/Chin straps must be worn securely fastened at all times while in possession of your bike. This means before, during, and after the event. This also means from the time you remove your bike from the rack at the start of the bike leg, until after you have placed your bike on the rack at the finish of the bike leg.
- Verbal or physical abuse of others is not acceptable or tolerated. Participants shall refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct at all times while at the event and during competition, including the use of abusive language; violent acts; intentional misconduct; or any intimidating behavior directed toward, including but not limited to participants, officials, event staff, volunteers and spectators.

1) From New York, Connecticut And Points North To LBI
Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 11 - get on the Garden State Parkway South and take Exit 63 to get Off the Garden State Parkway. Take Route 72 East for 1.5 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
2) From The Garden State Parkway (South Or North) - Exit 63 LBI
Exit 63: Take Route 72 East for 1.5 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
3) From The New Jersey Turnpike - Exit 4
Exit 4: Stay to the left/bear left under bridge on Rt. 73 (Marlton and Atlantic City). Go 3 miles on Route 73 South until you reach the Route 70 circle. Bear right on Route 70 for only 50 feet, then bear left around the circle on Route 70 East. Travel on Route 70 East 17.8 miles until the Route 72 circle. Take Route 72 East for about 23 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
4) From The New Jersey Turnpike - Exit 7A
Exit 7A: Bear right on 526 East and go 1 mile to stop sign in the center of Allentown, NJ. Make right on Main Street, go 3/10 mile and take 1st left onto Route 539 South. Continue on 539 South for 29.8 miles. Make left on Route 72 East. Take Route 72 East for 9.75 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
5) From The Pennsylvania Turnpike To NJ Turnpike - Exit 7
Exit # 7: When Pennsylvania Turnpike ends continue 2 miles until beginning of the New Jersey Turnpike. In approx. 3.5 miles you will bear left towards Exit 7 and North-New York. Go 3 more miles to Exit 7 (Route 206 Bordentown/Trenton). Pay Toll and bear left and take Route 206 South. Take Route 206 South for 10.6 miles to Route 38/Route 530 (Vincentown Diner on right). Make left on Route 38/Route 530 East and go 2.6 miles. Bear right on Route 644 East (To Route 72/Shore points) and continue for 7.8 miles on Route 644 East to Route 72 circle. Take Route 72 East for 23 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
6) From The Pennsylvania Turnpike - Exit 326
Exit 326 (Valley Forge/Philadelphia): Route 76 East to Philadelphia for 17 miles runs into Route 676. Go 2 miles to Ben Franklin Bridge and get in left lanes. Take Route 30 and 38 East (Cherry Hill). In 2 miles take Route 70 East for 37 miles to Route 72 East. Take Route 72 East for 23 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
7) From Delaware, Maryland & Points South To LBI
Take Rt. 95 North to the Delaware Memorial Bridge - then take 295 North to Rt. 70 East to Rt. 72 East. Take Route 72 East for 23 miles to the Route 9 North exit. (just past the Holiday Inn) SEE BELOW #9
8) From Route 539
