Description
Located half way between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Come and swim in a spring-fed man-made lake. Road bike on two lane roads RECENTLY RECONSTRUCTED. There will be sheriffs out there for your safety. Run a flat fast course on trail. Enjoy wonderful people and beautiful scenery. Aqua-bike and duathlon sprint distance offered. Super Sprint beginner race!!
VIRTUAL OPTION AVAILABLE - $25 any race/distance except the Fun Run. Receive a medal. T-shirt available until May 31. click "View All Events"
Everyone registered for the triathlon, duathlon or aqua-bike will receive a post-race meal, shirt, finishers medal and age group award up to 3rd place.
The Fun Run is an economical race organized as a fundraiser. All 5K participants will receive a finishers medal.
All net proceeds go to charity. Example: $2,000 has been donated to the Prickly Pear Land Trust and smaller amounts to Girls Thrive and other local athletic non-profits. In 2021, we donated $500 to the Helena Food Share and $200 to the Helena Dragon Boat team, who provided swim volunteers.

Capital City Health Club - 1280 Montana Ave. 4 pm - 6 pm Saturday July 6.
If you live or are staying in Helena, please pick up your packet at this time. There will be packet pick-up for those coming in Sunday morning at the race venue.
Race Rules
NO HEADPHONES ARE ALLOWED ON ANY PART OF THE COURSE
On the bike, regular road rules apply:
- Do not cross the double yellow
- Do not ride side by side
- No drafting off the bike in front of you
- All passing is on the left and must be done within 15 seconds
- If passed, the overtaken cyclist must move out of the drafting zone
General Conduct. At or during an event, or while at the event site, all participants must:
a. Act in compliance with these Competitive Rules;
b. Conduct themselves in a manner that is not offensive in any way to fellow participants, spectators, officials or
volunteers and is considered reasonable and acceptable in the community;
c. Treat all participants, officials, volunteers and spectators with fairness, respect and courtesy;
d. Refrain from the use of abusive language or conduct; and
e. After violating any of the Competitive Rules, report such violation to the Head Referee or retire from the
event.
Knowledge of the Course. The responsibility of knowing and following the prescribed course rests with each
participant.
The course will be marked, but it is still the responsibility of the athlete to know the course.
