Description
Join us on Friday, April 1st at Cecil Field Golf Course located at the New World Sports Complex for the Cecil Field April Fool's 5km run and 1K Fun Run. This race is in it's second year and is a fundraiser for an incredible cause: The Anthony J. Stinson Jr. Association for Change.
There is a chip timed 5km and a timed 1k fun run.
In addition to the race there are fabulous post race activities for the whole family described in more detail below.
Runner Amenities
SHIRTS:
All registered runners will receive a soft tri-blend t-shirt.
POST RACE PARTY:
There will be a post race party after the 5K which will include music, food and drinks.
All finishers will receive a race medal

Race Course Info
Course is flat and fast on the groomed back 9 of the Cecil Field golf course. Several high school cross country races are held here. The 5K at 6:30pm will have a marked 2 loop course, the 1K at 5:30pm will have a marked 1 loop course.

Event Schedule/Packet Pickup
DAY OF RACE EVENT SCHEDULE
Packet, Bib, & Chip Pickup: will be available at finish line area at 4pm on day of race.
Day of Race Registration: (Cash or Check Only) will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the race.
RACE START TIMES
5:30pm - Race 1 - 1K
6:30pm - Race 2 - 5km
AWARDS CEREMONY
30 minutes after the last finisher
Chip Timing
The 5K race will be chip timed using a bib chip system. Bibs will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their bib properly attached to their clothing to score in the race.
