Race Cancellation
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and beyond the control of the Wilmette Park District, we will not be able to hold the North Shore Triathlon this year. We are in the process of working with RunSignup to refund race registration fees to every athlete who paid for the 2024 event.
When we started the North Shore Triathlon in 2013 one of my favorite things about the event was the community it created. From new friends training together and neighbors challenging each other to triathlon veterans and first-timers racing together, the stories of community and camaraderie every year are inspiring.
Not only has the event created a community among athletes but it has also created a community of professionals working together. To put on the North Shore Triathlon, we collaborate with multiple municipalities, police jurisdictions, park districts, public works officials, volunteers, sponsors, and Precision Multisport team members. As you can imagine, this is a lot of logistics and schedules to coordinate. We appreciate all the work these teams have put in through the years.
We know that all of the different teams involved in this event are committed to the annual triathlon and we have our eyes set on 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you at the 2024 North Shore Triathlon.
