RiverTown Kids Triathlon

It's summer - lets get our kids to....

SWIM!  BIKE!  RUN! 

Kids Triathlon participants will swim in the pool, jump on their bikes, then off on their feet for the running portion. The events will be chip timed with a finisher time. Distances are based on the age of the child. Kids must supply their own bikes and must wear a helmet to participate. The events will go off in waves.  Kids Triathlon time is 9:00 am,  Race distance is determined by child's age ( see below) Kids will be awarded the top 3 boys and girls in the age groups below.   Everyone will get a triathlon finishers medal. 

Ages 6-8, 50 yards ( 2 lengths ) in pool, bike  approx .75 mile) run approx .35 mile

Ages 9-11 100 yards ( 4 lengths) in pool, bike approx .75 mile , run approx .65mile) 

Ages 12-14 100 yards in pool, bike approx .75 mile) , run approx 1 mile 

Kids triathlon  participants will get a racing bib, Race shirt, finishers medal, and photograph of the event. Finishing results will be posted online.

We encourage all runners to bring their own multiple use water bottle so that we do not add to the mounting plastic waste on earth. Please bring a reusable water bottle that you will bring with you during the race or for afterwards. You may refill your bottle at our water jug. Plastic water bottles will be available after the race but we are trying to reduce our footprint. <<<
