Zarzaur Law Maritime de Luna Du Youth Duathlon

The Zarzaur Law Maritime De Luna Du Youth Duathlon is held annually in the month of March.   The 2021event will be on SUNDAY March 28th. This race has over 200 youth from ages 6-15 years old.

RETURN TO SAFE RACING

We are very excited to put on a live event this March!  We will most likely will still be confronted with COVID-19 pandemic and you will see some changes in how we do things to keep our athletes and spectators safe.   Our volunteers will be following "zero" touch guidelines and be asked to wear masks.  We will be promoting social distancing with techniques such as spacious transition, modified wave/time trial start  and modified awards ceremony.  We will have plenty of access to hand sanitizer and disposable masks for everyone if needed.  Of course we will ask if an athlete/spectator is sick prior to the event please do not participate/cheer.   We will work with you for refunds or deferrals if this is the case.

We will NOT offer a virtual event if we are unable to hold an event.  BUT we do offer NO RISK REGISTRATION which means that if we do not race due to COVID-19 you will be refunded your registration fee.

The event is held at the  Vince J. Whibbs, Sr. Community Maritime Park in Pensacola, Florida. The event features a full duathlon experience for children from 6 to 15 years old while friends and family cheer them on. With a fully supported event on a closed course, safety and encouragement from volunteers complement the excitement of children becoming multisport athletes.

 This is a fully timed event and each athlete receives a custom medal and t-shirt for completing the race.
