YMCA Youth Triathlon

Join for the YMCA's Annual Youth Triathlon on Saturday, April 19th at the Peter Blum Family YMCA. The Triathlon starts at 7am for the 5-6 & 7-8 year olds. The 9-11 & 12-16 year olds will start at 8am. Transition opens at 6:15 AM. All registration must be done prior to event day. Ages 5-16 years old are all welcome. The children will be grouped into age groups: 5-6, 7-8, 9-11, and 12-16 years old with their respective distances (see below). 

Age Group Distances*:

5-6 years old: 25 yard swim, 0.5 mile bike, 0.5 mile run

7-8 years old: 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 0.5 mile run

9-11 years old: 100 yard swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run

12-16 years old: 150 yard swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run

* As per USAT rules, category is based on age on 31st December 2020.

This race is sanction by USA Triathlon. Each participant is required to have a USAT membership to enter this race. There is an option to purchase the membership at time of registration for $10. This membership last 12 months and will be valid at future USAT Sanctioned races within this time frame.
