We are collecting donations to support our mission of helping others live healthier lives. Our goal is to provide wellness resources to low-income families, encouraging them to embrace a healthier lifestyle. Why focus on low-income families? The funds collected will be used for the following purposes:
- Organizing events such as the Manor Community Day & 5K, which encourage low-income families to engage in fitness activities where their children can participate and witness their families and neighbors being active.
- Providing scholarships to college juniors and seniors pursuing careers in public health or preventative medicine.
- Supplying food for wellness workshops to teach low-income families how to live healthier within their means.
- Establishing and maintaining community gardens.
- Giving us the opportunity to waive fees for low-income individuals while still providing them with the full 5K experience, including a bib, finisher medal, and t-shirts.
- Creating programs and events to encourage kids to live healthier lives.
