In 2023 Camp Puzzle Peace served 7000 people on the Autism Nature trail during the weekends from May- November. The ANT is open to the public 7 days a week and serves as an outside classroom for many school field trips during the week.
Camp Puzzle Peace in Rochester, NY is a grassroots non-profit organization created by a collaboration of educators and parents. Our mission is to provide traditional family experiences for all families. We specialize in working with families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays. Our organization was founded in 2013 and served a small number of local families. In 2023 we served hundreds of families across the state. We provide two sessions of Adirondack Family Camp during the summer and a four week program called Community Connections that is focused on building social skills for children 6-21.
We provide skill-building opportunities to families and children that promote independence, healthy active lifestyles, networking and greater opportunities for families to participate in their community. Our staff are educational and community professionals who have extensive experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental delays, particularly those with significant communication and behavioral difficulties.
