42nd Megunticook Tinman Triathlon

Proceeds of the race support the local charity One Community Many Voices (OCMV) and the Theodore Hedstrom Memorial Scholarship.

All donations from registration will support the Theodore Hedstrom Memorial Scholarship. The Hedstrom family are long time racers & volunteers of the Megunticook Tinman Triathlon.  The Theodore Hedstrom Memorial scholarship is given via Midcoast Recreation Center to hockey players who ​exhibit the same qualities as Theodore:  Kindness, Friendship, Teamwork, Effort.  Recipients are chosen by their coaches and peers.  Theodore played for the Maine Coast Storm hockey club from the ages of 8 through 14.  The Maine Coast Storm plays an instrumental role in teaching our local youth good character and citizenship.  Theodore, and many others, have benefited greatly from this organization.
