We Are One Kayak Fun-Tri

MISSION STATEMENT:

In April of 2017 Doug Blevins lost his battle to a rare form of lymphoma.  During his 20 months of treatment he was always surrounded by an entourage of family and friends. He was always fortunate to have the ones he loved surrounding him during his battle.  He noticed how many people in treatments did not have anyone with them and with this in mind he told his daughters that he would love a Non-Profit created to benefit the Families/Friends of Cancer Patients that provided financial support so they could be an advocate to their loved one during treatments.  

In 2022, We Are One Inc (an Idaho Non-Profit) was created in honor of Doug so that “No cancer patient would fight AL‘ONE’!”.  We Are One Inc is unique in that an application can be sent in by the applicant or by someone who knows the applicants hardship.  In return we take a personal hands-on approach to providing them financial assistance based upon the individual’s needs.  We hope to lessen financial burdens so that the advocate can focus on the patients care and just simply be by their side to hold their hand!

We Are One Inc offers events that promote self-care, self-love and support. With our busy lives its starts from within and making the choice to show up for yourself. We are bringing people together to get outside, be active and surrounded by a community of love in support of a good cause.
