THE LAKE HODGES OFF-ROAD RUN | BIKE | RUN
Off-Road Challenge Run | Bike | Run is our one of a kind experience during our annual Lake Hodges Trail Fest. Challenge yourself and compete as and INDIVIDUAL or bring friends along for the challenge and compete as a TEAM.
We are a CUPLESS race series. Please make sure to bring some form of hydration vessel for your event. There will be no cups at aid stations.

OFF ROAD CHALLENGE RUN | BIKE | RUN
Welcome to our 2nd edition to our Lake Hodges Trail Fest Experience an OFF-ROAD DUATHLON as you Run->Bike->Run your way to the Finish around Lake Hodges. Our combined mileage of 23 miles will be sure to give you an experience to remember.

Run 10k (~6.2 miles) Bike 22k (~13.7 miles) Run 5k (~3.1 miles)
INDIVIDUALLY challenge yourself and complete the Run | Bike | Run course as a total time of completion.
TEAM enjoy a truly memorable experience with 2-3 friends and complete the Run | Bike | Run as a team. Each team member completes one of the legs. A team time will be recorded.
APPROVED TYPE OF BIKES you may use the following types of bikes to register: Road Bike, Mountain Bike, Gravel Bike, Hybrid Bike, E-Bike.
*Mix and match teams as all are welcome to enjoy, no restrictions apply to register.

PLEASE arrive no later than ONE hour before your race start time if you are doing same day race bib and packet pick up. If you have picked up your packet already, and only need to check-in, please show up no later than 15 minutes before your race start time.
You MUST check in prior to racing if you have previously picked up your packet, if you do not, it is not guaranteed that you will be recorded in the results.

If you are late to the start line, typically most races would not allow you to start, but as long as you understand that you still have to meet all the same cut-off times, and that your time will be reflected as the same start time as all the other runners, you will be allowed to start. There will be no adjustments to your cutoff times, or finisher times.

PACKET PICK UP OPTIONS
OPTION #1: Pre-Race Packet Pick Up: Will be located at Milestone Running Store (North Park Location Only) from Tuesday October 15th- Thursday October 17th 12:00pm - 6:00pm Enjoy 15% while you shop as a registered runner and support our local running shop.
* WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SHOP LOCAL AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RUNNING STORE BY PICKING UP YOUR PACKET.
OPTION #2: Race Day Packet Pick Up: Will be available. Early Check in begins at 5:30 am. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your start time to check in. You will receive your bib, finisher shirt, race swag.
*If you pick up your packet prior to race day, you must still check in at the starting table to ensure that we know that you are on the course that day.
**There will be no parking, or stopping/waiting at the start line to pick up your packet, please proceed to the parking area, and then walk over to retrieve your items.

AID STATIONS
Please note that this is a CUPLESS event, so make sure to bring some form of hydration vessel the day of!
Full Aid Station will be supplied with typical eats for this level of race: GU, Blocks, soda, some salty, sweet, and chewy snacks at the 15K, 10K, 5K aid stations. The 50K aid stations will have turkey/ham wraps, avocados, fruit, and other heavier "snacks". We will of course have water and some electrolyte replenishment. If you have dietary or allergy restrictions please make sure that you are prepared with your own snacks as needed.
**Please note that each aid station has approximate mileage based on mapping programs, and may differ a bit from each person's watch, app, or other tracking devices.

IS THIS A CUP LESS RACE? Yes, cups will not be provided at this sustainably conscious event.
ARE THERE DROP BAGS? Yes, in the designated transition area
ARE THERE BATHROOMS ON COURSE? We provide Port-a-Toilets at the Start Finish. The Park maintains several Port-a-Toilets along the trail and may be available.
ARE THERE AWARDS? Yes, awards will be giving out to the top 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male/Female runners
CAN I SIGN UP ON RACE DAY? No, this event is SOLD OUT.
WHEN WILL RESULTS BE POSTED? Our timing company will have live results to view. Official results will be available 2-4 days post race.
WHEN WILL PHOTOS BE POSTED? Race Day photos will be available for purchase 5-10 days post race.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A HELMET? Yes, you must wear an approved helmet during the entire bike leg.
CAN WE MIX AND MATCH TEAMS? Yes, all are welcome to join a team. You may sign up as a mixed team our a combination of individuals.
WHAT TYPE OF BIKE IS REQUIRED? You may choose to use: Mountain Bike, Gravel Bike, Hybrid Bike. * NO ELECTRIC BIKES

IS THE EVENT CHIPPED TIMED? The event is chipped timed. Transitions are not accounted for. This is a continues chip time.
