Weekly running and walking groups in the Rochester, NY area. We are here to do something healthy and productive for ourselves! Research has proven how physical exercise helps with stress reduction, managing anxiety, boosting mood: if we move, we can expect benefits for the body AND mind. Our groups will also connect socially while exercising together (at a conversational pace). Moving our bodies and the bonds we form will have a positive impact on our lives.

Group workouts take place on Tuesday evenings during the summer 2019 session (10 weeks total).
Walk Talk ROC meets 5:45-6:45 and Run Talk ROC meets 6:45-7:45pm. 1st workout: 6/18, last workout: 8/27. "Graduation" race (optional) is Friday 8/30 at 6:30pm - details will be provided to members well in advance.
There will be an ONLINE orientation posted to our summer program private Facebook page no later than Monday, June 17. This orientation can be watched at your convenience. Orientation info will also be sent to all members via email prior to first workout.
It is recommended you arrive a couple minutes early if possible, since we will begin workouts promptly. Please wear weather-appropriate apparel and have hydration. Members will receive a checklist of gear/recommendations via email before our first group workout.
