Welcome to my fundraising page of the Stomp the Monster Spooktacular. I will be running on Saturday, October 21 for family, friends, co-workers that have battled and beat cancer, currently in treatments or have lost their lives to the Monster.
We are raising money for Stomp the Monster charity and we are asking you to help by making a contribution! Stomp the Monster provides financial and other support to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers when they need it most - during their fight with their disease, including paying medical bills, utility bills, childcare, food cards, gas cards, and so much more.
Here is the story of how Stomp the Monster began from its founder, Seth Grumet: “On May 18, 2010 after not feeling right and several Xrays/CT scans, etc. I was told that I had a tumor in my chest, and it was most likely Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. That day would be a day that changed my life forever. I am a fortunate man to have family and friends that have been nothing less than absolutely amazing in the support they have given to me, and more importantly – my family; it has truly been a humbling experience. In my travels to hospitals, doctors, oncology centers, etc. I have learned there are people that are not as fortunate as me. People don’t have the support I have, they don’t have the friends, the family that surround you with love, and are alone in a process they shouldn’t be alone in. I want to help people get the care they need, the support they need, and the research they need to get cured and live a life – this is the opportunity I am lucky enough to have. This is one of the MANY things I will be doing to support Cancer patients, like me, who have relied on the research done to get cured…..to STOMP THE MONSTER under the floorboard!
