Parking assistance needed for adjacent lots and in park. Instruct athletes on where to park.
Wrist bands will have parking designated by lot. If no designation instruct them to street parking.

Radio Active Tri Club Finish Line Support

Details

Give finishers their medals and provide needed support/water at the Finish Line. Help direct the athletes to Expo/Awards. Keep Finish Line Chute free and clear of spectators. To also include timing support by assigning and removing chips.

Check in at main volunteer booth for shirts, medals and setup instructions. Please see the timer for exact instructions for chip distribution.

ATX Tri Club Transition Area & Run Support

Transition Assistance

Details

Help in the transition area. Jobs include (but not limited to): bike mount/dismount; run in/run out; and general crowd control. You will be making sure our athletes know where to both enter and exit the transition area. You will also will be checking bike numbers to make sure the athlete's race number matches their bike when exiting transition once the race is completed

Bike Course Cheer Station - Austin Pedal Kayaks

Provide directional, cheering support and encouragement for cyclists/athletes competing in the races. This spot has amazing view of the lake on a cliff and is shady.

10 mile course
Two loop course so cyclists will be passing you twice.
First pass - Mile marker 1.25 approx
Second pass - Mile maker 5.75 approx

Bike Course Cheer Station - Corner of Explorer/Adventurer

Details

Provide directional, cheering support and encouragement for cyclists/athletes competing in the races. Will be near corner intersection and on private party driveway encouraging cyclists to keep going straight and to tackle the hills.

10 mile course
Two loop course so cyclists will be passing you twice.
First pass - Mile marker 3.5 approx
Second pass - Mile maker 7.8 approx

Report to Main Park Entrance Volunteer Booth for shirt, safety vest and location verification/drop in.

You will be stationed at a EXPLORER/ADVENTURER, along the course to help direct the athletes to stay on course and GO STRAIGHT. No worries, major intersections will have police support to direct vehicular traffic.

Home Owner aware of use of right away. Do not park in driveway or block the intersection.

SAG Vehicle

Details

SAG Volunteers provides constant verbal and physical assistance to riders on race day by driving the route and aiding them in any way possible. At times we may ask you to be the trail car when we have limited SAG vehicle support.

Driving SAG for PinkStrong Events:

You need a vehicle that can carry at least two people & two bikes.

​You will be assigned a route to drive along to check for riders stranded by the side of the road/rest stops.

​Stop and help folks if they need to mechanical help or need a ride back to the finish.

Fuel may/can be reimbursed and basic tire/bike repair supplies may be provided.

TLC Massage Therapy Volunteers

Setup Instructions for equipment drop off:

Report to main park entrance, drive down and drop-off/setup and exit park to park at designated parking lot(upper level - main entrance of park)

*Tent will be provided*

*Must be Set-up by 7:30* Access to park via car will be cut-off.

We expect *150*female athletes

Athletes race start at 8:00 and we predict - first one done by 8:30.

Athletes need to complete the course by 10:30 and we will be wrapping by 11am.
