For our creative artists, we'll be marking our own course and setting up signs saying "Loop 1" and 2 and 3, with arrows. We'll need some volunteers to help with this.

Race Packet creation

We will stuff the race packets with all the promotions from sponsors, etc.

This includes another run through of both the 1k course and the 5k course. All the markings, cones and signs.

Race Day - Packet Pick up area

This is Thanksgiving morning and we'll need all hands on deck for the racers coming into the Dreamland Welcome Center. They'll need to pick up their race packets, bibs, safety pins and goodies.

Race Day - On Course traffic directors

We'll need volunteers ready to make sure all runners & walkers follow the course. The 5k is 3 slightly different loops around the property. As a volunteer, you'll be strategically placed to make sure no one makes the wrong turn.

Race Day - Course Sweeper

Details

Arguably, our most important volunteering position, the race sweeper. These volunteers make sure that we follow the "Leave No Trace" philosophy. We'll be picking up all the lost and found, all the wrappers, all the cones, etc. Most likely you'll be on a Mule or ATV as you go around the course helping make it look pristine!
