Description
This year, the Director of Tri the Rez is putting on a three race series. A sprint distance on Saturday, March 8th. Another sprint distance on Saturday, July 19th. And a sprint or olympic distance on Sunday, October 12th. Register for one or save some money and register for all three!! See www.tritherez.com for more details and the downloadable registration form. There will be a series award champion and club champion crowned!
For the Sprint:
Great sprint triathlon located on the FSU Reservation. For more details, visit the race website at www.tritherez.com.
The 1/3 mile swim will start on the white sands of the FSU Reservation's beach at Lake Bradford. Swimmers will head out into the lake, make a right hand turn, another right hand turn, then come in to shore via the boat ramp.
The 14 mile bike course is an out and back, mostly flat course. Course will be well marked and manned.
The 5k run course goes out of the Reservation, down Lake Bradford, to Lakeside - most of the run has a view of Lake Bradford and turns around at the Tallahassee Museum. Aid stations are available at miles 1, 1.5, 2 and the finish.
