Description
Give back one gallop at a time on Thanksgiving morning! When you run the Gobble Gallop 5K, you support our Annual Campaign, which ensures that all ages can experience the benefits of Y membership, including health, fitness and education. In 2023 we were able to give over $401,571 in financial assistance to our Westside Community.
The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA strives to make a difference in the lives of people in our community every day. The Gobble Gallop 5k is our largest fundraising event for our Annual Campaign. This past year, the donations we received towards our Annual Campaign helped provide over $401,571 in financial assistance to qualifying Westside families. We were able to provide children with the opportunity to attend preschool, take swim lessons, and play in our youth sports leagues. We would never be able to reach that goal without the help of community members like you. Join us this Thanksgiving and help us give back to our Westside community!
LIVE & VIRTUAL RACE OPTIONS
Gobble Gallop 5k
The original Gobble Gallop 5K. This option is for those who wish to run the 5K in person at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA on Thanksgiving morning at 8am.
**In the event that we move the race to fully virtual, in person participants will automatically become virtual participants, NO REFUNDS**
Gobble Gallop 5k - Virtual
Out of state, want to sleep in, or prefer to run whenever you want? You have the option to run the official Gobble Gallop 5K course on your own time or complete a course of your choosing.
Complete your Gobble Gallop 5K anytime the month of November! Prizes will be awarded for top finishers, be sure submit your race results! SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
Leftover 10k - Virtual
Earn those Thanksgiving leftovers with a little extra challenge. The Gobble Gallop 5K + an extra 5K = The Leftover 10K! This event is strictly virtual.
Complete your Leftover 10K anytime the month of November! Prizes will be awarded for top finishers, be sure submit your race results! SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS

Whether you choose to race at our in person event on Thanksgiving morning or virtually any time in November, you'll receive the same great SWAG! Your registration includes:
- Soft Comfy Long Sleeve Tee (no longer guaranteed after 11/11)
- Option to Upgrade to the Hoodie for $18 or Add it on in addition to your Long Sleeve Tee for $30. Add Beanie for $14
