At Pivotal, we believe that starting early changes everything. That’s why we begin working with foster youth as early as middle school—because research and experience show this is a crucial time in their lives. Our dedicated coaches stand by their side, guiding them through the challenges of school, graduation, college, and beyond.
For 35 years and counting, we have remained committed to providing foster youth with the education, career, and life skills they need to succeed. What started as Silicon Valley Children’s Fund in 1989 has evolved into Pivotal, a leading force in empowering foster youth across the Bay Area. With your support, we’ve served more than 25,000 young people from foster care, helping them rewrite their futures.
