Welcome to my fundraising page! Fighting against the Double C
I Bike for my fellow Family, Friends and Myself that live with Cancer.  I am blessed that my current treatment is substaining my life, but I also continue to look for ways I can have a better quality of life & definitely a cure. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer 4 1/2 years ago. When we attend The Badger Challenge in September I would have suppressed my 5 Year Anniversary of living with Terminal Cancer.  That being said you can see why this event is so important to me. I sign up to walk/run/or bike at this event to help raise funds that all stays locally with UW Madison Carbone Cancer Center for continued research. Please sign up under my team to help in reaching my team "Fighting Against The Double C" goal of $10,000.  You can give personally to my link or help with signing up to participate under the team and raise funds yourself. Spread the word to all on every social media, let's start talking about it. I am signed up this year to Bike the 5K so join me if you like to bike. Otherwise there will be others on the team participating in all the categories. Don't hesitate just sign up to be apart of the biggest celebration a person could have living with MBC for 5 years and going strong! It's a party you don't want to miss. #NOdoubleC 
I am proudly helping accelerate cancer research and patient treatment initiatives forward at the University of Wisconsin through my involvement in Badger Challenge - an annual walking, running, and biking event which powers the brightest cancer minds, ideas and technologies at UW. We all have been affected by cancer in some way and more needs to be done to combat this terrible disease.
The Badger Challenge's mission is to give 100% of all participant-raised dollars (yes, every penny!) to the most promising UW cancer initiatives both in the laboratory and clinic setting. Since 2016, Badger Challenge has raised over $3.6 million and what’s best of all is our ability to see where the money goes as Badger Challenge presents their Scholars each year!
Badger Challenge takes place in September and 100% of all dollars-raised are presented to the newly announced Scholar Class by January of the next year. This is done quickly so the funds can make an impact in the labs and hospital helping patients and families immediately. 
Help me support Badger Challenge and its UW cancer mission. All contributions are appreciated - whether it is $5 or $500, every dollar counts and you can be assured that every dollar you give goes back to the cause and helping those affected by cancer.
